Print + Paint Bauble
We’ve just added our first ever download to the site - a 3D printing STL file for this fun little Santa bauble.
Adorn your tree with your very own Collectable Cities bauble this year - we’ve designed this Santa for you to 3D print + paint yourself. This goes out FREE to our newsletter subscribers, or is available to purchase for £3.50 in the shop. We hope you all have some fun with it and please tag us in your process / results.
3D Printing
If you’d like to paint the bauble, we’d suggest having this done in resin for a slightly smoother finish. FDM 3D printing or resin are both great if you’d like to just pick a solid colour / finish to make him in. Let Them Fly has done a resin test for us, and C3DP tested it out in FDM and we really loved the results - thanks so much to both of them. Check their accounts for some cool making-of videos.
C3DP can do this print for you (if in the UK) in either materialwith FDM being much more cost effective. Just get in touch with them on instagram to sort it out!
